HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN AUTHORIZATION

When you placed your order, if you created an account, log into your account and see the instructions in the image below to request a Return Authorization.

If you did not create an account with your email address and password when you placed your order, you will need to go to the Contact Us page and complete the Contact Form. Our Return Policies are here. Be sure to choose the Return Authorization Request department and give us your name, order number, what you want to return and the reason you want to return it.

Please make sure to read our Return Policies and Information below the image, scroll down to make sure you are requesting a return in a timely fashion and to make sure your return is not rejected or delayed or you do not incur additional fees.

Again, DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, ship anything to us until you receive approval for a Return Authorization. If you ship it to the wrong warehouse, then you will incur an additional shipping and handling fee because we will then have to ship it to the correct warehouse, which is going to cost you money and it will delay your return or size exchange. You must wait for the RA number and the correct address to ship to BEFORE shipping anything back.

How To Request An RA Number

IMPORTANT RETURN POLICIES AND INFORMATION - READ BEFORE YOU REQUEST A RETURN AUTHORIZATION

  • You can shop worry free here at Best DOT Helmets. You have 7 calendar days to request a Return or Size Exchange.


  • We carefully check your order before it ships to make sure it has the correct size and product(s) that you ordered. However, if WE make a mistake and send you the wrong product or size, we will pay for shipping back to us and shipping for the correct product and/or size.


  • It is not our error though if your helmet does not fit you. If we sent you the size you ordered and it does not fit, you will be responsible for shipping the product back to us and for shipping of the next item. We pay the shipping for your original order only, you will be responsible for any returns or size exchanges.


  • Returns will be accepted only if the product is unworn and unused. Product must be returned with ALL tags, plastic wrapping, packages, helmet boxes, any free gifts we may send you. We will not accept products that were worn even for a couple of hours, if it’s worn, has been cleaned, has an odor or perfume of any kind on it, it will be rejected. The only thing you are allowed to do is to try it on briefly to make sure it fits, anything longer than that, is considered worn and unsellable to anyone else.


  • Returns will be issued Store Credit for the amount of the sale, minus shipping and handling we paid to send your order to you. In SOME cases there may be a Restocking Fee if not doing a size exchange for the same exact product, just a different size. There are no refunds available, only Store Credit. We do not charge your credit card until we make sure your order is in stock first, so if we let you know that what you ordered is out of stock, we will void the order which will release the hold/authorization put on your card when you placed the order. We do not have the money, it is still with your bank or credit card issuer. The time it takes them to remove the hold/authorization after we void the transaction can vary and you would have to contact your financial institution and ask them if you are in a hurry.


  • You MUST request an RA Return Authorization in order to do a return or size exchange. Do not under any circumstances return something to us to our office in Florida, we do not ship from our office, your order will be shipped from various warehouses all over the United States. If you return something to us or the wrong address, you will incur another shipping charge as we will then have to take your return and ship it to the correct address and this will be done at your expense. We will take that extra shipping charge out of any Store Credit and will send you a PayPal invoice to pay the additional shipping charge.


  • If you did not create an account when you placed your order, please go to our Contact Page and complete the form to request a size exchange or return authorization. Remember, this must be done within 7 calendar days from the date you receive it. After 7 days, there will be no returns or size exchanges even if we sent you the wrong size or product. It is up to you, the customer, to open the box, try on your helmet or other product, make sure it’s the correct item and that it fits you. That only takes a few minutes to do, so please do it as soon as possible after you receive your order.


  • Size exchanges must also be returned with all attached tags, packaging, be unworn except to briefly try it on. Once you request the RA Return Authorization and address to ship it to, please contact us with the tracking number. Once we receive your return, it will be inspected to make sure it’s not been worn and everything that came with it was returned. Then we will send you a PayPal invoice that you can pay with your credit card without creating a PayPal account if you do not have one or do not want to. The invoice will be for the shipping of the next size helmet. Once that is paid, we will ship you out the new size helmet and send you the tracking number.


  • To avoid having to do a size exchange, please carefully measure and look at the size chart. If you are in between sizes, order the larger of the two sizes. Manufacturer’s size charts may not be exact, but they will be close enough that your helmet should fit fine if you measured carefully and correctly. Don’t assume that because you wear a size Large in XYZ Brand of helmet that you will wear a Large in ABC Brand of helmet. Do your measuring before you order so you can avoid having to return anything.
